The POWER in Silence

The passing of Thich Nhat Hanh resonated with her heart. The teachings of a great master who from a young child knew he had a mission of voice to share. He chose to be a monk. A soft and silent fellow, his words echoed across the world. The power in words, a force to be noted through silence and prayer. Thich Nhat Hanh liberated stillness, silence and peace for all. She felt grief of his passing, yet strength from his teachings. A gift in his words that she also shared to others from a young age. Influenced also by the solitude upbringing from her father. In silence we can create something greater from the presence of stillness. A moment with the Self. Grief is a passing moment. From death evolves rebirth. In silence we can create. From creation we can influence others. All from silence in the present moment of time. Reflect in silence. Be still like a lotus flower under the sun’s rays.

I wrote the above during my weekly writing group where we were tasked to write for 10minutes on the theme "Silence". We all connected through words along themes of temples, prayer, Asian culture, loss, grief, and communication.

Grief and loss are powerful emotions. My grandmother always taught me not to dwell on moments that bring sadness or pain. The renewal of life we can evolve into from grief is as powerful as the sun. A new way, view, direction of life will be transformed. I believe this so as Thich Nhat Hanh peacefully departed his physical presence on Earth at the timely transition of Lunar New year or TET in Vietnam. A passage of closing one year with the darkness of the moon to begin a new journey. Strongly connected with the number 22 a master number, and significant also with the year of passing 2022! Continuing his spiritual voyage as an ascended Master to all through February where we align with several strong energy days approaching

The 2nd and 22nd of February are wonderful dates to connect with higher divine energy and that of our ascended Master Teachers. There's also purpose after death!
