Who am I? Root Chakra

During week 1 of a recent Chakra Series workshop being hosted within Harmony Life, we were tasked to journal our I Am existance. Focussing on the Root Chakra of foundational early childhood development. The prompt to write for 10minutes being, "Describe Who You Are?". I wrote....

"I am an approachable, calm and centred woman, mother, supporting friend or associate to others. I promote living a lifestyle of harmony and balance, by connecting with my internal energy system and to then ripple out to others. Thus to embrace change with ease and pleasure.

I grew up a middle child of two brothers. Raised by our father as a solo parent. Mum died when I was 9yrs young. From that experience I learnt quickly the power of self love, helping others and how to emotionally navigate daily life and turbulent times calmly. My Father became my mother and I learnt we all embrace masculine aswell as feminine characteristics.

I struggled in childhood to feel heard and listened to. Calm and softly spoken, plus talked over, put down and belittled by troublesome brothers. I was teased often, yet mostly in jest. I found communication easier and understood by male friends, than girls. Yet I always connect with older generation women very well. Some would call me an old soul.

I love challenges, learning new things and embrace change. I love kids and their curiosity for simple things in life, and their fun and playful conversations. I often tap into my inner guidance and intuition. I am warm and friendly, yet also enjoy my own company. I created Harmony Life as a vision in 2012 after I quit a job in the fashion industry when living in China. I'm very visionary and what I write often manifests into reality over time. I'm very go with the flow, my true divine feminine traits. I learn to balance more masculine energy of action, motion and strength.

I love helping others naturally and found I'm a guiding light for many, yet have learnt boundaries alongside this journey. We are all teachers to one another along this path of life. I am very present moment, living each day as it comes and definitely found with age that wisdom aligns opportunities for my greater good.

Having experienced death young, I'm deeply spiritual and trust our ancestors guide and support us daily. I am open to receive messages of reassurance. I bore a very intuitive son, a rainbow child who also teaches me, and I believe the parent / child connection is a journey in itself. As a guide, mother, teacher I share with others to live everyday as present as possible. You never know what tomorrow brings.

I'm very trusting sometimes, however my open heart puts too much trust in others. I misjudge and have found myself taken advantage of. I learn to navigate people carefully. Realising that not everyone is as open hearted as myself or of the same intentional thinking.

I've journalled since childhood and this has definitely helped me alot in processing thoughts and feelings for myself, situations and others. I'm in the beginning stages of writing a book based on my life journey with tips and tools to support others."

The workshop is continuing and is such an alignment with my personal journey and development. The Teacher and I have connected and have similarities in our journey aswell as the books we read and take inspiration and knowledge from.

The above being one of many "Bible" books for the past 15years. The workshop navigates the phasal growth of life and the intergration of mind and body in our personal self development. A highly reccommended read to understand how balance can be obtained in early years if we all connected within from birth and parenting.

Within the workshop we've connected with our sacral chakra, safety and trust, and now upto the 3rd chakra the Solar Plexus, what I call the emotional suitcase and powerful sun wheel. Our emotions can navigate our journey strongly. The imbalance being anger and fear of letting go. With my own Reiki energy work practice the fluidity to charge up with new fire, but not allow it to build up, combined with the ability to release and flow. The solar plexus will enable confidence, glow, power & purpose.

We're forever evolving and navigating conditioning, imbalances, deep rooted behaviours, creating transformational change in ourselves and guiding others. Bringing balance and harmony to ourselves from within, and then onto others. Together creating a better world.
